MobileIPv6:Protocol Technology and Application

Mobility is a very important aspect of our daily life. We wanted to remain connected with our office, home, and friend¿s. Mobile IPv6 is a protocol which supports user mobility in IP based network. In MIPv6 it was assumed that only mobile node is mobile in nature, but this work also enhances the mobility of Home Agent of Mobile Node and Home Agent of Correspondence Node. Therefore it makes MIPv6 a true and complete mobile protocol. The role of home agent is very important in MIPv6 so the reliability of home agent reliability protocol is also enhances by proposing a suggestion on protocol. For the establishment of emergency connectivity of mobile node an emergency connectivity protocol also proposed so that Mobile Node can remain connected with Correspondence Node even if Mobile Node loses its connectivity with Home Agent. Approach used in this book is research based. This book should be on the desk of anyone who is interested in or involved in MIPv6. This book incorporates many of the advances made in the MIPv6 in recent years.
