MGNREGA- Ethical issues and dilemmas

The book reflexes the actual ground position of Indiäs renowned employment scheme i.e. MGNREGA in the rural area of Punjab especially in the Sangrur & Mansa districts. The scheme has attained great attention from number of economists all around the world and it has proven to be a great success in number of states of India. But in already developed states i.e. Punjab & Haryana, the scheme has not able to perform much in increasing productivity etc. Therefore, the success story of the scheme especially in Punjab is much limited and it reflexes the reproduction of another Dig Holes Theory.
