Manual of tonal harmony

When I was learning piano and music theory, I found it necessary and practical to document every new notion and to make a manual of periodical revision, thus was born this manual, supposed to give the first notions of harmony and to have studied it more deeply, from the scales, the elementary terminology, the chords, the functions, the harmonic cadences, the harmonic steps, the modulation, the conduct of the voices, the foreign notes, the expressive power of the tonalities and characteristics of the intervals, the physics and the history of harmony are also part of this manual.The study of tonal harmony requires an assiduous effort and a persevering will, of which I have tried in this manual to give the methodical steps, and to leave no gaps, and to smooth out as much as possible the real difficulties which await the reader.
