Maison Guiette – Le Corbusier

This architecture book weaves history, restoration, and daily experience into a layered portrait of Maison Guiette, from its inception to the most recent interventions. Historical documents and correspondence between Le Corbusier and Guiette bring the original vision to life, while reflections from past and present residents highlight both the continuity and fragility of the heritage. Furthermore, the house was meticulously restored by Ann Demeulemeester and Patrick Robyn. Their commitment and respect for the modernist heritage played a major role in preserving the residence. Victor Robyn’s photography captures the house in its daily rhythm: light, usage, and detail as silent witnesses to life inside the home.
