Ethiopia is one of the leading countries in terms designing development plans among other African countries but still the country does not have a macroeconometric model used as a framework for crafting policy analysis. Macroeconometric models are abstractions and a way for systemic thinking on how the entire economy is functioning. Macroeconometric model that satisfies the very nature of a country¿s economic situation has paramount importance compared to what main stream economic theories hypothesize especially in the case developing countries like Ethiopia. This book is believed to fill this gap by developing a macroeconometric model taking key macroeconomic features of the country.
