Learning difficulties in Geometrical concepts of IX class pupil

Mathematics is essential subject and an elegant field of human creation. It is the tool for shaping the intellect. Geometry is the wonderful area of mathematics to teach. Learning of geometry emphasise logic, systematic analysis and accurate reasoning. Geometry provides knowledge and enables students to do things logically and to develop logical thinking without which Geometry cannot be understood. Geometry develops the ability to draw accurate plans. Thus Learning of Geometry is necessary at high school stage for developing logical reasoning. The Mathematics teacher at secondary level has to realise the role of teaching the fundamental concepts in the subject among the pupils. Many pupils find Geometry in Mathematics was a difficult topic and most of the students do not show considerable interest and feel difficult in learning Geometry. This book discusses the steps that introduction about facts for learning difficulties in learning Geometry and to find the difficult areas of learning geometry in Mathematics among IX class students in relation to certain psycho-sociological variables were given chapter wise and It is useful to the mathematics teacher at secondary level.
