The headmaster job is indeed interesting and varied and full of opportunities for the persons who are stimulated by challenges. The headship is a profession for those interested in organizing and administering all aspects of education that produce the attitudes, values, knowledge and skills for future generations. The headmaster of a school is the hubs of the educational process, on his abilities and skills as sound and competent educational leaders depends the success of the school. Doubtless, the college is essentially a co-operative enterprise, in which every member, big or small, high or low, has a vital role to play, yet the headmaster who is entrusted with the responsibility of co-ordination, guiding and integrating the various programmes, are key persons. Every aspect in the school, the physical plant, the staff, the curriculum, methods and techniques of teaching, co-curriculum activities, human relationships, bear the imprint of the personality of the headmaster and reflect their leadership behaviour.
