Just Protozanov

The work is devoted to the life and activity of Alexander Konstantinovich Protozanov, a prominent representative of the party-state elite of the Tyumen region in 1950s-1960s. The main stages of his biography connected with his work in different regions of Russia and former USSR (Altai Krai, Belarus, Udmurtia, Kazakhstan) are considered. Particular attention is paid to the period of his activities in Tyumen, shows the role of AK Protozanov in the development of exploration and formation of the West-Siberian oil and gas complex. The book is addressed to teachers, students, pupils of primary and secondary schools and professional educational institutions, local historians and everybody who is interested in regional and personal history.
