Integral Management Of Special Solid Wastes

Currently there is inadequate disposal in riverbeds, streams and places not authorised by the Autonomous Municipal Government of Sacaba.This is due to the high growth rates of the construction sector in the last 10 years. Likewise, the lack of adequate treatment in the department of Cochabamba means that trade unions, associations and the general population who transport construction or demolition debris deposit it in places where there is no control.Also, according to the studies carried out by the UCB, to propose treatment proposals for the medium and long term, to look for financing and to implement them, since no municipality in the country has construction waste treatment, they simply authorise deposits in areas for land levelling, etc.The main components of the present special waste law are based on determining specific places or areas for the final disposal of special waste, prohibiting the final disposal of special waste in unauthorised areas and issuing economic sanctions to offenders.
