Inner images in self-healing processes

In this book, inner images in women's self-healing processes are made the subject of discussion. These are women with lower abdominal complaints who have taken advantage of a self-healing consultation using the Wildwuchs® method. This method makes it possible to develop very personal self-help steps with the help of inner images. The theoretical part of the work comprises the cultural history of the female abdomen, especially the uterus, on the one hand, and the mode of action of inner images in healing processes based on neurobiological principles on the other. In the empirical part, the method of uncontrolled growth in the context of health and illness is explained and compared with the experiences of the test subjects who used this method. The central question is the importance of self-healing with inner images from the perspective of the test subjects. The evaluation is based on ten qualitative, focused interviews with the participants. The book spans an arc from the cultural-historical devaluation of the female abdomen to the attempt to re-establish a dignified connection with this central area of female creativity.
