Information seeking behaviour of Great Zimbabwe University students

The research project establishes between the Library use patterns that were imparted to students through the user education programme information seeking strategies that were exhibited by the students in the Faculty of Arts. The research was informed by Wilson 1996 model of Information seeking. The research will go a long way in providing a platform for research and finding lasting solutions to maximize and balance library resource use in university libraries. The research was triggered by low use of information use sources. The research was therefore carried to find out information seeking behavior, information sources preferred, problems encountered in accessing GZU library sources, and to suggest strategies of improving GZU information seeking behavior
