Inclusive psychoemotional education in higher education

In this book, we will explore strategies grounded in the recognition and inclusion of students with disabilities in the context of psychoemotional education in higher education. We will draw on the research and reflections of several experts in the field, as well as valuable insights from several key works.By examining the history and policies of special education, innovative approaches to eliminate ableism (discrimination or prejudice against people with disabilities) and promote equity in education will be proposed. In addition, practical techniques and strategies will be provided to encourage student participation in learning, thus promoting an inclusive environment.Different pedagogical approaches and teaching practices that promote inclusion and diversity in the university classroom will be explored. Through a collection of case studies and readings, we will reflect on how to adapt and implement inclusive strategies in the higher education setting.
