Implementing the new farm advisory strategy

This study is part of the overall framework of the implementation of the new strategy of the Agricultural Council (AC) to accompany the Green Morocco Plan in Morocco. The general objective of this work is to analyze the role and the articulation of the actions carried out by the various actors being part of the device of the CA and this, by focusing on the case of the Region of Meknes/Tafilalet. The specific objectives of the research are: 1) to diagnose the regional system of the CA; 2) to analyze the existing coordination relationships between these actors; 3) to study the perception of the actors on the operationalization of the implementation of the new strategy; 4) and to carry out a reflection on the competences and the typical profile of the agricultural adviser. At the end of this empirical work based on documentary analysis and field surveys of the actors, we formulated some practical proposals for operationalizing the implementation of the actions of the new CA strategy in the region.
