In this book, we build a border surveillance wireless sensor network going from scratch to real life deployment. We go through an overview of WSN and it's various applications, architecture, routing and deployment technique. We build our own optimized network topology and routing protocol with detailed packet structure. We propose an efficient low cost localization and tracking technique using unmanned aerial vehicle. We setup our hardware and programming environment. We develop our different nodes programs using NesC and TinyOS. Finally we put our work into life by testing the routes establishment and visualizing the intruders detection in C&C server's screen.
