Implementation of cosmetic GMP according to ISO 22716

The market for cosmetic products in Cameroon (and in most countries of sub-Saharan Africa) is largely dominated by imports, due to globalization! Local production represents only 25% of the local market.The importance of (re)structuring Cameroonian cosmetic companies in order to make them more COMPETITIVE is therefore urgent, especially since the market for beauty products is expanding rapidly.This crucial step therefore involves the implementation of the requirements of the international standard for cosmetics ISO 22716.The implementation of this standard has been a success at SOCIPEC, which has contributed to obtaining the ISO 9001/2015 certificate demonstrating its ability to meet the needs and expectations of its stakeholders. Also, has restored its brand image in Central Africa, as a giant in the cosmetics industry.
