Hydro Power Potential Development

Energy development from renewable source like water is very essential with regard to protection of environmental pollution. Most of rural streams far away from the main grid system, so stand alone grid system is better than inclusive to the main grid system in the perspective of cost. So far, specially in developing country selection suitable hydro power potential sites is so much crud and was not scientific based. Currently, by using geographic Information system and supplementary hydrologic models we are able to select potentially and economically feasible hydro power sites have been selected by considering sound factors, which affect hydro power site selection thoroughly. So in this book a lot of scientifically advanced techniques were applied to investigate hydro power sites and realistically feasible sites also recorded. Despite the validation process between the (observed head and simulated head by using focal statistics tool of GIS), (observed discharge and grid based simulated discharge) requires intensive investigation, the over all output is so much impressive.
