It seems that the Association Ligérienne des Personnes Handicapées Adultes (ALPHA), whose mission is to support disabled adults, has adopted this wise African proverb. Indeed, it takes under its wing eleven medico-social establishments located in Maine-et-Loire. The association was created from the merger of some of these establishments in 1998. This young association has probably not finished growing in order to pool resources and thus last over time.
