Higher Education: a perspective from Complex Thinking

This book is the product of scientific work that has been developed for several years in the field of Higher Education and Complex Thinking. It aims to articulate the diversity of knowledge and build new ways to think, train and educate according to the demands of the 21st century. It provides assertive methodological strategies to educate in a transdisciplinary way and to be able to awaken the student's interest in learning. It criticizes the traditional models of education, which still prevail in Higher Education Institutions and influence the formation of professionals, providing them with fragmented, unidisciplinary, disarticulated and outdated knowledge. In an effort to overcome the traditionalist models that lack answers to the variety of problems faced by society, a single objective is proposed, to overcome the cognitive inadequacies of humanity and provide a new way of understanding reality and show society that another way of educating is possible.
