To sharpen High School learner by providing a strong foundation in safety, security, anti-terrorism, emergency, disaster risk reduction and disaster risk management. Therefore the book will enhance the learner ability to manage safety, security, emergency and disaster incidents by objectives. This book contain 9 chapters. Chapter 1 contains introduction, background information and definitions whereby an adult person, parent or facilitator should assist the learner to understand the concepts. Chapter 2 contains pictures of common hazards. Chapter 3 contains procedures during an emergency. Chapter 4 contains important people that can assist the learner or reader during an emergency and disaster. Chapter 5 contains important facilities that should assist the learner or reader during an emergency and disaster. Chapter 6 Contains the dös and don¿ts. Chapter 7 and 8 have been added to enhance more practical skills. Chapter 8 is very important for introduction and enhancement of Emergency and Disaster Management Volunteers Clubs. Chapter 9 is about Key Terminologies to enrich the learner with more knowledge.
