Hegemonic Struggles Between the US/Allies and the Emerging Powers

The book examined the efforts by the Emerging Powers led by China and Russia at altering the hegemonic role the US/Allies have played over the years, focusing on the role of global finance in US/Allies dominance and how it has facilitated the challenge; series of initiatives by rival nations; national capabilities and their implications for global peace security and development. The book captures the reality of our time as it uncover the extent to which the US/Allies are bent on maintaining the status-quo while China and Russia are bent on altering it. The implications of such a context is presented in what the study calls hegemonic-ominous-graphic and it revealed that the struggle has reduced global economic growth and increased financial instability; delegitimized the United Nations; increasing cyber espionage/cyber war and creating counter alliance formations, arm race, deterrence policies, crisis bargaining and the resurgence of proxy wars; territorial revisionism and the creation neo-neo imperial structures that tend to perpetually subjugate weaker nations.
