The book ¿Heavy Metals in Environment¿ reflects the impact assessment of industrial effluents on characteristics of groundwater, agricultural soil and crop plants tissues in Panipat region of Haryana, India. The book deals with heavy metal pollution aspects of industrial effluents drained by textile industries, which play a significant role in degrading the water quality of groundwater and ultimately effected the entire environment.
