HEALTH EDUCATION PROGRAM

Health education is a process aimed at promoting healthy lifestyles (habits, customs, behaviors) based on the specific needs of the individual, family or community. From this point of view, health education comprises a set of educational activities developed in formal and informal processes, which are carried out permanently (continuous education) by all actors, as part of institutional activities; it is not limited to the timely transmission of messages through lectures or demonstrations. From this point of view, health education comprises a set of educational activities developed in formal and informal processes, permanently executed (continuing education) with all social actors, as part of institutional activities. It is not limited to participation in the timely transmission of messages through talks or demonstrations that will be carried out.
