Growth of Small Scale Industries

Small scale industries have already proved its mettle as a dominant player in most of the developed economies by giving a new dimension to their growth perspectives. It has helped in generation of larger scale employment at lower capital cost, balanced regional development generation of expectable surplus and in the establishment of a more flexible, innovative and competitive structure. Even in developing economies, it is being accepted as key to sustainable economic growth. The present study was conducted as an attempt to identify the performance of small scale industries in Haryana and to suggest measures for effective performance of these industries.
