GRANULOSA TUMORS

Ovarian sex cord stromal tumors are uncommon neoplasms worldwide, accounting for approximately 6% of ovarian tumors. Granulosa tumours are the most frequent in the group of ovarian sex cord tumours.Our study is a retrospective study of 25 cases of ovarian sex cord tumors collected at the Laboratory of Anatomical Pathology, Salah Azaiez Institute.Contrary to the literature, our series included 14 cases of CK positive granulosa tumors. The immunostaining was cytoplasmic and membrane intense and diffuse. This could be explained, as many authors assume, by the conditions of the pretreatment of the tumor specimen. Studies of larger populations are therefore desirable in order to know the expression profile of CK in these tumors.
