Globalization, Capitalism and Gender

Advanced industrial countries are overwhelming the third world countries under their economic policies. Globalization is functioning as a process to accomplish the will of advanced industrialized countries. Every society is touched by the process including its culture, rituals, norms, styles, and so on. Advanced industrial civilization operates with a greater degree of sexual freedom where women become a market value and a factor of social mores. The role and image of women in advanced industrial civilization become different in compare with traditional society. These changes inspire this study to examine the causes and consequences of globalization is gendered phenomena. The current fastidious study vindicates the factors that are changing gender relationship in the process of globalization.
