This book is written on the bases of the author¿s experience in teaching basic, intermediate and advanced writing skills at Samara University. Most of the university students face severe challenges in writing courses. The author, wrote this book to help learners at any level understand the theoretical as well as the practical concepts of writing. Thus, this book gives a brief theoretical background and practical activities learners can practice throughout the lesson. The book assesses sentence, paragraph and essay level writing for basic, intermediate and advanced level learners. Finally, most of the activities designed under this book have an Ethiopian context as it is the reflections of students and instructors of Samara University.
