Gender stereotype crisis and the housing problem

The book you have in your hands is a partial delivery of my doctoral studies (2010-2016) in Anthropology carried out at the Universidad de los Andes (ULA), Mérida Venezuela. Its purpose is to show how patriarchy, as a cultural system of domination of men over women - in interrelation with the capitalist system - constructs stereotypes (cultural systems, generally dichotomous, arbitrary, opposites), which when some are exhausted and reinvigorated (gender crisis) contribute to aggravate the housing problem. The aim is therefore to make it clear that the housing crisis cannot be solved through housing (massive construction of housing solutions), but rather by addressing the causes and consequences generated by the gender crisis.
