[Spirit and Ethics. A Pneumatological Perspective on Protestant Ethics]
< The study develops a systematic-theological foundation of Protestant ethics from a pneumatological perspective. Starting from the thesis that Protestant ethics must take seriously the dynamic and non-conclusive process of spiritual renewal in lived practice as an ethical struggle within the horizon of divine grace, ethics is understood not as static but as processual. Building on this, the argument advances the view that spiritually mediated processes of perception and interpretation of human life practices are constitutive of ethical judgment. To this end, the work conceptualizes the activity of the Holy Spirit as an inspiring phenomenon of resonance that accounts for the contingent enactment of faith while simultaneously providing orientation within pluralistic contexts of life.
