FROM MY INNER AMAZON TO YOU

Mi amazona interior para ti, is born from the approach of its author, a clinical psychologist with more than 13 years of experience in the treatment of populations, families and individuals affected by situations of domestic and gender violence in different parts of the national geography of the Republic of Colombia. In this work the author manages to combine the use of different therapeutic tools of traditional clinical psychology with elements of the so-called third generation psychological therapies, providing guidelines on how to identify the type of couple that generates situations of violence, the strategies they use, the effects it generates in those who receive their actions, different aspects of the couple's relationship that generate conflicts and lead to the consolidation of the cycle of violence, while providing with examples and real stories of patients she has treated, how the strategies she teaches empower women to cease in their role of being victims, becoming survivors.
