This study explored and described individual elementary principals¿ experiences of ethical decision-making. How school principals resolved dilemmas through Shapiro and Stefkovich¿s (2011) multiethical paradigms approach. Clark Moustakas¿ (1994) model of transcendental phenomenology and Robert Nash¿s (2002) three moral languages provided the basis for this research study. Interviews and a demographics questionnaire explored the school administrators¿ perceptions on leading in the rural context.
