The purpose of this book is to examine the approaches and forms of learning through which the Action-oriented Approach functions in the context of blended learning and creates the necessary conditions for successful foreign language acquisition and for the practical application of language skills and knowledge in accord with the changes in life today. Collaborative learning, based on the principle of positive interdependence between learners, supports the development of an active and productive learning community and contributes to the active acquisition of the target language. The structural model for implementing an action-oriented approach in the context of blended learning, presented in the book, is flexible and adaptable to the requirements of a large variety of courses. Its practical application reveals its potential to create the necessary prerequisites for active learning, to boost the students¿ interest and motivation, and last but not least ¿ to create conditions for the transfer of the acquired habits and skills to a different learning environment and to different situations in life.
