Foreign Investment Rights in Cambodia

The Royal Government of Cambodia seeks to lay a solid economic foundation for the future prosperity of the country. The best way to do this is to create a full-fledged market economy, along with a proper change of the state in the economy. Furthermore, in order to expand its economic territory, Cambodia has decided to reintegrate into the regional and global economy; this is the accession of Cambodia to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and the World Trade Organization (WTO). After Cambodia's accession to these two bodies, there are many problems that Cambodia has to face and in relation to these problems, it also has to solve. But in relation to our information, we will demonstrate a problem that continues: After joining ASEAN and WTO, how can we articulate the national and international law to attract foreign investment in Cambodia? This is the context of this book.
