Foreign direct investment in Ethiopia

The goal of this book is to assess and identify the determinants of foreign direct investment in Ethiopian economy, particularly associated with economic growth potential. The increasing trend of globalization over the last decades has led to strong growth of foreign direct investment which can bring many advantages to host countries like bringing technology transfer, raising foreign funds, creating employment opportunities, producing competitive business environment, helping human capital formation and so on. As a result of these advantages of FDI, currently several developing countries are actively seeking foreign investment by taking measures that embody economic and political reforms designed to enhance their investment environment.
