After thirty years of being in an unhealthy relationship and marriage, Ruth Gold decided that she had had enough. She went through many years of ups and downs with her husband regarding hope, love, religious beliefs, and having children. Despite all the challenges she endured, she stayed in the marriage until she gained the strength to pick herself up and leave.
