Slag is always a concern for the production manager, as it can lead to enormous losses of lead. Lead is the main resource of the Société des fonderies de plomb de Zellidja, which is why the operator strives to recover as much as possible.S.F.P. Z has set itself a target of no more than 2% lead in slag.Z has set itself a target of 2% lead in slag, which it must not exceed, but recently it noticed an anomaly in the lead content, which has reached abnormal values. Our end-of-study project therefore consists firstly in identifying the anomaly which has caused huge losses in lead, and secondly in studying all the parameters causing the increase in lead content of the slag.After a detailed study of the various factors influencing the loss of lead in the slag, it turned out that the element responsible for the anomaly was the one linked to the roasting temperature.
