Event mapping

The development of Mape has been successfully completed; a Multi-platform Web Application that serves as a tourist map, applied in the Municipal Government of the Morona Canton in the province of Morona Santiago, with the purpose of promoting places and events of popular interest. A survey was conducted on the needs of tourists/consumers and merchants working as tourist servers registered in the municipality. This research has been carried out with the aim of identifying or validating a problem to be solved. The results of the analysis of the surveys have been used for the planning of the Mape project, carried out under the Scrum agile development methodology. As a result, an application is obtained that allows the user to locate on an interactive map the events published free of charge, as well as all the places he wishes to show to his friends or other people. It also has an interface for merchants and entrepreneurs who wish to advertise their products or services.
