To raise the standard of living in any country, two things are healed scientific knowledge and the population. Science is one of those human activities that man has created to gratify certain human needs and desires. The great value of science is that it has introduced us to new ways of thinking and reasoning. In other words, science is the precursor and development is the queen of science and technology and the indispensable single element in modern society development. Therefore, any shortcoming in the subject constitutes a drawback in the nation¿s attainment of scientific and technological. Thus, science helps us to equip with proper intellect, reasoning and seriousness needed to lead responsible life, therefore it is said that a mind trained through study of science is more capable of leading a well disciplined life, and science sharpens our critical thinking skills. Thus, science is as an overall product of human activity in the form of a systematic and organized body of knowledge. So, Science has now become a compulsory subject up to class X in school curriculum because of its multifarious values to the individual as well as to society.
