Energy Management

This is an open elective course developed to cater current needs of the industry. This course covers topics such as energy conservation act and energy conservation schemes. It also covers energy efficient lighting design, the student will learn power factor improvement techniques, energy efficiency in HVAC systems. In addition, economic aspects such as payback period calculations, life cycle costing analysis are covered in this course.It supports multi-disciplinary under graduate courses and Master¿s Degree in Engineering. Practicing engineers also find it as a useful text and a reference book.
