Timber beams in factory or in existing structure that have been built, but now carrying higher loads than design, or needs repairing needs to be strengthened which will give equivalent load carrying capacity similar to beams with bigger size. The strengthening with only CFRP plate bonding is more effective with gave a maximum 64% load capacity increment, followed by NSM and hybrid.
