Effect of Working Environment on Employees' Performance

Humans want a better working environment and aspire to work in a better working environment, and this in turn motivated them to perform better in their respective fields. Working environment plays a critical role to boost employees¿ performance. Therefore, due attention has to be given for better working environment seeing its contribution for the overall performance of employees in particular, and the company¿s success in general. Causes for a substantial amount of employees¿ turnover are associated with bad working environment. Thus, any firm shall have to create a conducive and workable working space for the employees based on the nature of the task they perform.This research book focuses to identify the effect of working environment on employees¿ performance in one of big public enterprises, found in Ethiopia. The research findings and recommendations stipulated in this book may help to instigate other similar companies to thoroughly investigate their respective cases for the betterment of working environment.
