Effect of Bilingual Approach on English Language Performance

There are five main chapters in the book. In the first part, introduction on English as a second Indian context, language skills, different approaches and what is English class room environment of Lakshadweep ,union territory of India, have been discussed. In the second chapter of this book, reviews on studies related to influence of first Language on second Language learning, studies related to reading and writing skills in English, studies related to Different Factors influencing language learning and also it broadened with studies related issues of Bilingualism. Methodology, research design, lesson plan, unit plan and tools which I have used in my experiment have been penned down. And fourth part of the book has been packed with data analysis and its interpretations. The fifth chapter comprises with research findings, educational implications and my humble suggestions for further studies which are derived my research findings.
