ECP in a coronary unit for a patient with AMI

Cardiovascular diseases (CVA) are the leading cause of death worldwide and lead to an increase in disability. This causes a high health care and economic burden for the health system. Specifically, in this care plan we will deal with Acute Myocardial Infarction (AMI). It is important that health professionals develop the knowledge and skills necessary for an adequate assessment and intervention in the face of this health problem. Currently, there are important advances in the treatment of this pathology. Thanks to the introduction of Coronary Units with specialized staff, early recovery and possible detection of early complications after acute myocardial infarction (AMI) is achieved. The development of this nursing care plan aims to help unify the nursing care necessary for the recovery of a patient with AMI after receiving antithrombotic treatment and reduce the risk of possible complications.
