Earthquake Risks Mitigation- A stakeholder¿s Approach is a research and application-orientated approach designed to cater for a wider range of users residing in seismically active communities. This book is based on a doctoral research that focused on a holistic perspective incorporating the social, cultural, economic, regulatory, institutional and political realms, for managing earthquake risks. This book provides detailed and current information on methods of managing earthquake risks, including; knowledge on a range of factors that may affect earthquake risk mitigation decisions; insights on how different stakeholders¿ practices influence earthquake seismic mitigation decisions; and examples of relevant incentives and motivators for managing earthquake risks.
