Dilution Doctrine With Reference to Well Known Trade Mark

The book mainly concentrates on theoretical knowledge and practical issues concerning well-known trademarks and legal regimes for their protection from dilution as a distinct part of trademark law. Accordingly, the work begins with an overview of the definition of well-known trademarks in a theoretical perspective, and then examines the international legal framework for the protection of well-known trademarks provided under the Paris Convention, and the TRIPs Agreement. Therefore, work consists of a thorough discussion on specific legal issues concerning dilution of the well-known trademarks, and the enforcement of the legal regime for the protection of well-known trademark from dilution in India. Generally the book focuses mainly on well known trademarks. However, other aspects of intellectual property rights are referred to for purposes of comparing or clarifying issues relating to the main content of the book.
