Nowadays, to be a good orthodontist it is not only important to develop clinical skills but it is also important to have thorough knowledge about the different software programs available and to know how to use them. These software programs help reduce time required to do work, eliminate human errors and reduce the requirement of storage space. Even though many software programs have developed for interpreting two-dimensional data, there is still a lot of scope for 3-dimensional interpretation of data and simulation of treatment, which will determine the future of orthodontics.
