It has been noted that the present day agricultural processing machines or equipment are being out sourced which makes them very expensive and cannot therefore be conveniently procured by average individuals. Since the use of home-made designed and constructed machines can largely reduce the hard work and stress associated with beans processing, increase productivity and improved the nation¿s economy, a hand operated portable machine for shelling bean coat was developed and tested on bean seeds.
