DESIGN AND ANALYSIS OF ALGORITHMS

The motive behind this book is to provide an introduction to Design and Analysis of Algorithm. Algorithm concepts have been presented in a simple and logical manner keeping the essence and flavor of rigor in place. To familiarize the reader with the application of basic concepts, selected examples illustrating the concepts are incorporated in the text. Relevant topics, which help the user to understand the concepts easily, have been included. The book in its present form covers the requirements of the course on ¿Design and Analysis of Algorithm¿ for U.G and P.G students. More than 40 algorithms have been clearly explained and examples illustrating the applications of the algorithm have been provided. Pictorial representations of the problems aid in a clear understanding of the methodology.
