Descriptive Writing Matters in English

The book titled ¿Descriptive English¿ is a modest attempt on the part of writers to provide a supporting system for English language teachers working in low resource conditions across the globe. Description requires creative thinking, originality, looking beyond what others can possible think or view besides being a range of vocabulary and command on mechanics of writing. This book aims at developing mechanics of writing by introducing various interesting activities from basics of grammar, sentence construction, variety in sentence length and structure, words often confused apart from sentence correction. In addition to this, it gives practice to students in email, letter, creative and independent writing besides study skills such as paraphrasing. The activities designed in the book are ideally suitable for Intermediate level learners. We sincerely hope and believe that this book will be a source of help and support to all the English language teachers to fulfill their learners¿ academic and professional language requirements to a great extent.
