The aim of this work is to study the impact that cochlear implantation (CI) has on the active working life of implanted subjects, using a questionnaire developed and validated in the Cochlear Implant Unit of the Clínica Universidad de Navarra (CUN). The aim is to assess whether the CI is having a significant impact on the working life of these patients. CI provides positive support in the professional sphere as well as in social skills by benefiting the communication ability of implanted patients. The development of tools to assess the degree of job satisfaction of patients treated with a CI is of great interest.
