Cultural Problems of Translation

The book covers one of the important subject intranslation , namely the cultural problems of translation.To fulfil such an end, translator may confront because of the differencein cultures,the SL and TL.This book comprises two chapters . Chapter one is devoted to the discussion of culture in relation to translation . It is divided into three sections. The first section reviews the definitions ofthe term culture by sociologists , anthropologists and linguists .Section two concerns with what is called cultural untranslatability that takes place in some cultural aspects. Chapter Two deals with the cultural problems of the English-Arabic translation involving geographical, religious, social ,material,political,linguistic and artistic problems.
